Be an Active Pacifist

All pacifists are committed to living lives of peace and nonviolence.
Passive pacifists are able to live lives of peace and nonviolence by avoiding conflict.
Active pacifists
 are able to live lives of peace and nonviolence by facing conflict and working to resolve it.

Here are some of the ways that active pacifists are able to resolve conflict and promote peace in their communities:
– by paying taxes to help meet the financial needs of their community;
– by visiting every corner of their community to make sure that nobody is getting left behind;
– by voting for non-divisive leaders who will represent the voiceless;
– by spreading wealth fairly through the preferential hiring of people who are different from themselves;
– by encouraging diversity and by preferentially shopping at stores that have a diverse workforce;
– by visiting common areas such as parks and helping to maintain them;
– by supporting police officers and holding them to high standards;
– by supporting schools and teachers and holding them to high standards;
– by supporting health care workers and holding them to high standards;

If you’re a citizen, please work to be a pacifist.
If you’re a pacifist, please work to be an active one.
